Saturday we did a simple lunch..

It was so much fun..

Walking to Tesco and preparing the food..
It was simple pan-grilled chicken with mushroom cream sauce..

Salad with homemade thousand island sauce..

Sounds crazy and difficult? hehehehe...neh it was simple

Someone's prescence perhaps is the best thing..hahaha

the 3rd year christmas in penang..
i still miss christmas at home..i wonder if there is still christmas tree at hom without 3 of us at home.. sorry mom & dad..but i know both of u sureenjoy the time also..
Back home..christmas normally is wet..dark..gloomy..really into the mood..

Christmas this year...quite busy..serving and enjoying the true meaning of christmas..
It is the gift from god to us...his only son..
gift of joy..salvation and eternal life..

Abe is super happy and have fears too..

Entering the world of uncertainty is surely something frightful and uncomfortable..
Well...to be there and experiencing means we are learning and become more mature..
Few events happened these few days...
Im glad it happened..
Im not sure why and how it happened..
I pray it is from God..
But..everything is so uncertain..
But i have faith in God..my tower of strength..

Abe @ ASEAN Univeristy Games Opening

This should be an old post..

Ill write it out anyway..

Team fencing team was at KL for the opening ceremony of the ASEAN university games

thoughts:-

1) Our University really made a bad arrangement for us to go for the opening ceremony

2) We are there for 4 days jz to actually to attend tat opening..kind of waste of time and money

3) Schedules are all not confirmed and full of FREE TIMES!

4) Accomodation in UKM is ok..but where is the food? where do u aspect us to eat where canteens are closed?

therefore i think we can do better management on that.. but we are dealing with people from H*PP.. how better do we aspect? something must be done i think..

On the opening....for me..personally im always proud of the preparations done..

feedbacks from few teammates of course performances worth is only the fireworks

They said the organizers didnt really protray the true essence of MULTICULTURAL Malaysia.

Perhaps there is some truth in it...aint 'other' cultures like chinese,indian, iban, kadazan etc etc part of the big culture in malaysia?

Why such bias? I am always proud to say im a Malaysian. But are they ready to proudly accept us as MALAYSIANS? it always saddens me... nvm...im always an optimist!

Most memorable thing through out of this trip? Bu nen suo de mi mi (is a secret!)

im really really happy and felt...'weird' hehehehe..long time havent got this feeling...

Abe blogging from UKM

What a day!

Woke and prepare myself to go out.. clean the house...

then straight to the post office..then BPLK...then to Lab

At the lab...guess wat...lambasted by Prof...actually he is just giving stern directions..

In regards of our final year project...

Then took USM bus to KL for a seminar sukan..

Supposedly this seminar is held in conjunction with ASEAN University Games

But actual it is held so that more students are 'cheated' to go for the opening ceremony...
Such cheap tactics..aihzzz (@.@)

But i always have a open mind... is good also to take some pictures of the event

The bus took like 6 hours to reach UKM..dreaded journey..

But im kinda got used to the bus travelling... i havent stop travelling since the last 2 weeks..

here is UKM's dorm. Not bad but...compared to USM...i still love USM

Right after final exam, one week of intensive fencing trainig..then 4 days competition in KL. Went back for a day in Penang then head to Lumut for sailing..
i think im crazy!

Here it goes:-

This posting will not tell u what i do day to day...ill just summarize it..

I really really really had fun..
I met incredible young peoples there...
I am inspired by them..

I felt hope is still there for us..

One ironic thing is that im talking about the environment. Of course one of the presentation will be on White Coffin. You know what? On board the ship, they only serve food on polystyrene. First reaction... OMG!!!!! How am i gonna speak on that topic when the organizers itself couldnt make sure the food is serve on proper reusable plates?

I heard this is the directive from the Navy cause last year they have water shortage due to excessive washings...ok...nevermind.. they are still learning..

After my talk...i felt changes will come...im positive.. responds was good..

Everyone rush to search for reusable cloth bags to ditch plastic bags,
some even went to search for food container when we anchored at Langkawi.

As for me.. hei hei...TADAAA... luckily i got my Go-Flex container with me and the tupperware water tumbler...i used none of the polystyrene container...well if i had used them...will u think my talk will be successful? perhaps the effect is even better when i brought it cause i really WALK THE TALK! cheh...puji diri pulak (self-praising)

Few more things i need to highlight here is the people i met... u ppl rock! seriously.
i did not change u all...in fact meeting u all really changed me.. (JBs, Ezrie, participants)
You all make my trip memorable..it was one of the most precious memories in my life i believe.

2 are missing.. si Adam dan Qusyairi
